Merry Christmas everyone! Peace on Earth and goodwill towards men.
Okay we’ll I saw two movies this weekend, back to back. First I saw I Am Legend starring Will Smith. Then I saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets starring Nicholas Cage.

I Am Legend was pretty good. I was impressed by Will Smith’s acting. The story takes place in New York City 2012. 3 years after man creates an apparent cure for cancer. This cure in turn has a horrible reaction to the population of the world, leaving Will Smith the only one left. But he really isn’t alone.. I’m not gonna spoil the plot but you can probably find out what it’s about from watching the movie trailer. I’ve seen it twice and all the people I saw it with were creeped the hell out.
I give I Am Legend 3.5/5 stars
National Treasure: Book of Secrets was not a BAD movie. It wasn’t a jump out of your seat performance either. For those of you who have seen the first movie, the sequel continues the theme of treasure hunting Ben Gates attempting to clear his great grandfather’s name after he is accused of masterminding the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. The movie cleverly uses national landmarks as clues in sort of treasure map.
I give National Treasure a 3/5 it’s a good family movie.

Well I got the news I had been waiting so long for, and I was rejected from Boston College. I don’t think I’ve ever been so heartbroken or disappointed before I read the letter, but I think I’m almost over it.. Now the frantic search for a college is underway, I’m gonna go with my initial backup plan and apply to BU and NorthEastern. They’re great schools and a little bit easier to get into than BC. I’m super glad I have Aimee who’s really supportive and my parents too for the most part. Hmm, now I’m just studying as hard as I can and doing what needs to be done, until April which is when I get my next letters.

So remember that movie trailer that showed when you went to see Transformers? The one that didn’t make much sense with people talking about a mysterious monster attack New York City? Well they’ve finally released a trailer for it, and it seems like the movie is being told in Blair Witch style, with normal people recounting the events of that day with camcorders. I’m really into movies like these but I’m not sure I’ll like this one. I like scary films but monster movies always seem to be lame and corny. The “creature” doesn’t make an appearance till the end of the movie, so it’s gonna be something like War of the Worlds mixed with Lost?
Here’s the official movie trailer.

Weeeell right now I am taking a break from my schoolwork to write this. I’m quite busy as of now because my mother says that I may be grounded if I don’t get serious with my schoolwork. My arguement is that once I get into college it doesn’t really matter what grades I get as long as they’re passing grades right? Well anyway she’s not wrong for tryna make me do my work so I’m gonna work a little harder tonight. I’m waiting for my early application to Boston College right now, news should be released by December 15th. I really wanna goto BC!! Last summer there was great, and if I attend Boston College I’ll be close enough to see Aimee on a regular basis. It’s also a great school might I add.
Another thing worth mentioning, my APM (Actions Per Minute) on Starcrat has improved!! I had an apm of about 80ish in November and now its up to 115-150 range. For all you SC noobs, apm is how you measure your skills in SC. Here’s a screenshot of the stats from a game I played earlier:

Well thats all for today, I’ll catch you all later! Peace out.
