Life Remixed

So today was Sunday, I did my usual routine of heading to New York for the day. I goto church in Chinatown, it’s an evangelical Christian church with a mainly Chinese congregation.

I got a haircut today. I had it cut pretty short for Chinese New Year. (Men and boys are supposed to cut their hair short on Chinese New Year, idk some luck tradition involved.) It’s coming up in about 3 weeks, that means lots of  spending money.

Today I was thinking about New Years Resolutions as well. And I think I’ve made em LOL.

1. Grow out some facial hair. BEFORE someone laughs at me for this, I just wanna try it. I’ve shaved daily for so many years and I’d like to see how having a goatee feels like. Then I’ll shave it off.

2. Get my 6 pack back. Ever since I was hit with mono I’ve been out of shape. I’m gonna try to do the generic new years resolution and get back into shape for health purposes.

So it’s finally 2008, and I’ve been waiting for this year FOREVER. I can already feel this is gonna be the best year of my life by far. Why you ask?

1. I turn 18.

2. I moved out of the house.

3 . COLLEGE

4. I get my car ^_^

Last but not least..

5. I’ll get to see Aimee often of course. lol

So I was thinking of maybe having a New Years Resolution. In the past I could never keep em, and there’s nothing to say I wont keep it this year but whatever. I’d  say my resolution is to just make this year the best ever.

On another note, Christmas gifts! I know the holiday isn’t about the gifts but I got some nice, thoughtful presents.

From my parents I got an American Eagle Outfitters gift card for $200. It was thoughtful but I don’t even like to shop there. lol

My Uncle Henry (mom’s brother) bought me a 320gb external HDD. YESSS I’ve been needing this so much, my laptop internal hdd is almost full and it’s been slowing my comp down. Thank you so much Uncle Henry!

My Uncle John (mom’s other brother), Uncle Fido (dad’s brother), and Aunt Kathy  (mom’s sister, all got me footlocker gift cards totaling like 125$. I really appreciated this and I was able to get some nice new sneakers.

I got Halo 3 the limited edition with the Master Chief helmet thing from my Uncle Keith (dad’s other brother). Its nice to look at cuz I can’t play it yet haaah.  I don’t have a 360, I’m waiting till Aimee moves so we can play together.

Speaking of Aimee, as usual I got her LOVE. and thats all that matters right? =]

From other various relatives I got about 300$ cash in all, with which I got myself a Christmas present lol. an 8gb iPod Touch. I wanted to see what the hype of it was all about and I love it! I’ve already jailbreaked and hacked the ipod so I can put homebrew and 3rd party apps on it. It’s a great little gadget.

So yes! It was a good Christmas, remember it’s not about the presents! =D
